Getting Published is Murder
What’s more fun than writing stories like Romancing the Stone? When murder forces her to live it during her greatest adventure—getting published.
Jill Foster, a pre-published romantic suspense author, arrives in New York City for the Revenge writing conference. As a recent divorcée and finalist in the Poisoned Apple competition, Jill needs her pitch to hook a literary agent and potential book contract more than ever. But a surprise reunion with her former critique partner, Zane Jacoby, stirs her creative juices toward a storyline she never expects, and an ambitious killer uses Jill’s fiction to distort reality. With the conference “afoot”, Jill stumbles on a very real body in the mock crime scene room, plunging her week into a calamity of epic conference fails, adventurous love, and murder. When Jill is framed, she and Zane race to solve a mystery unlike any they’ve imagined, until Jill is forced to decide whose story matters most—her characters’, or her own.
