Getting Published is Murder

What’s more fun than writing stories like Romancing the Stone? When murder forces her to live it during her greatest adventure ever—getting published.

Jill Foster, a pre-published romantic suspense author, arrives in New York City for the Revenge writing conference. As a recent divorcée and finalist in the Poisoned Apple competition, Jill needs her pitch to attract a literary agent and potential book contract more than ever. But a surprise reunion with her former critique partner, Zane Jacoby, stirs her creative juices toward a storyline she never expects, and an ambitious killer uses Jill’s fiction to distort reality. With the conference “afoot”, Jill stumbles on a very real body in the mock crime scene room, plunging her week into a calamity of epic conference fails, adventurous love, and murder. When Jill is framed, she and Zane race to solve a mystery unlike any they’ve imagined, until Jill is forced to decide whose story matters most—her characters’, or her own.

Adventure with heat. Humor with heart. Sexy mystery writers? Yes, it’s possible.
